- 2006
Founding
Dimonoff is co-founded in Québec City by Bernard Têtu (President) and Daniel Noiseux (Vice President).
- 2012
First Canadian smart lighting project
Dimonoff is selected for the first smart street lighting project in Canada: the City of Mississauga, Ontario, with more than 50,000 streetlights to convert, targeting 55% energy savings.
- 2013
Amotus
Amotus, a custom IoT engineering firm, is co-founded in Québec City by Éric Dusablon and Benoît Bédard — the company Dimonoff would acquire five years later.
- 2016
Montréal
Dimonoff is chosen for the City of Montréal’s smart streetlight conversion. Dimonoff | SCMS is selected as the platform to integrate multiple vendors into a single interface.
- 2017
Microsoft Azure
Dimonoff | SCMS becomes available on Microsoft Azure IoT Hub as an asset and maintenance management platform.
- 2018
Amotus acquisition
Dimonoff acquires Amotus, adding IoT engineering expertise in sensors, applications and custom development.
- 2019
RME
Dimonoff unveils the redesigned RME node for street lighting control, with enhanced security and efficiency.
- 2020
Prix Performance Québec
Dimonoff receives the Prix Performance Québec government recognition for management quality and performance.
- 2021
Merger
Dimonoff and Amotus merge, consolidating brand identity and service offerings under the Dimonoff banner.
- 2023
EV charging
Dimonoff partners with Recharge Véhicule Électrique on intelligent charging management for multi-unit residential buildings, with provincial funding support.
